發電機組輪番出狀況，供電情勢緊張。台電公司預估，今（ 7 ）日備轉容量率仍不到 3% ，為 2.99% ，亮出供電警戒橘燈。至於未來一周也不樂觀，周三（ 9 日）、周四（ 10 日）限電警戒警報再起，恐亮出紅燈。
5日破管的台中火力電廠 1 號機在台電全力搶修下提前修復，今日已達滿載發電。不過，花蓮和平電廠復舊作業持續中， 130 萬瓩缺口仍在。台電公司預估，今日尖峰最高用電量 3560 萬瓩，最大供電能力 3665.5 萬瓩，備轉容量率 2.99% ，勉強維持供電警戒橘燈。

據調查，美國政府購買的「威而鋼」不僅僅是給現役軍人。退役軍人與其家屬也能受益美軍所提供的「免費威而剛」。
眾所周知，勃起功能障礙主要出現在老年人當中，因此退役老兵是服用「威而鋼」的主要人群。
另據美國退伍軍人事務部（VA）發布的報告，許多退役老兵罹患「創傷後壓力症候群」（PTSD），患有「PTSD」的男性退役軍人高達85％有勃起功能障礙。
另有研究指出，享受美國國防部醫療福利的人數高達1000萬人，僅2012年就花掉了520億美元（約新台幣1兆5763億元）。
